The Ventura County Star ran a nice article about our settlement in a landmark class action case against a nursing home in Ventura County for administering powerful drugs to residents without required consent.  In addition to paying $345,000, the nursing home will undergo spot inspections to monitor and ensure the nursing home explains the benefits and risks of psychotherapeutic drugs to residents or their legal representatives.

This is a national issue where every day, 1 in 4 nursing home residents is given powerful psychotherapeutic drugs that greatly increase their chance of death.  We hope this helps spread the word that people need to be vigilant when it comes to protecting our parents or grandparents.
